After her parent’s death, Jane is sent to live with her uncle and his cruel wife, who then sends her to a cruel school. She finally becomes a teacher and finds a job as a governess at Thornfield Hall, the home of the rich Mr. Rochester. When she falls in love with him, it seems that Jane has found happiness at last... but the house holds a very dark and terrible secret.
